Internal wall insulation is done by installing a stud frame to the existing wall. Insulation material is then applied before the plasterboard is added.
The new wall is then completely replastered, ready for redecoration. Radiators, skirting boards and electrical sockets will all have to be moved to accommodate the new insulated frame.
