The Warm Homes Plan
The Warm Homes Plan sets out a major national commitment to upgrade homes, cut bills and tackle fuel poverty. It includes public investment to upgrade up to 5 million homes and lift-up to 1 million families out of fuel poverty by 2030.
The plan includes support for low-income and social housing tenants, upfront heat pump grants through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, low-interest green loans for middle-income households, 0% VAT on solar panels and batteries, and new minimum energy efficiency standards for private landlords to be met by October 2030.
