On Thursday the 15th February, we were delighted to attend the 10th annual North West Energy Efficiency Awards 2024 in Bolton. This event is designed to celebrate the companies and individuals whose efforts are saving customers money, protecting the environment and creating a clean energy future for the people of the UK.
Regional Insulation & Fabric Installer Winner
We are pleased to report that it was a highly successful evening for the Next Energy team. We won the award for Regional Insulation & Fabric Installer which was sponsored by EcoSurv and were highly commended for two other awards: Regional Renewable Heat Installer and Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year.
To win the award for Regional Insulation & Fabric Installer is an incredible accomplishment and one which would not be possible without the dedication of our outstanding team whose commitment to excellent customer service and high quality delivery always goes above and beyond.
We were delighted that our work in installing renewable energy sources was recognised at such a prestigious event as we have seen the difference that they are making to customers’ quality of life, comfort and budget and this drives us to continue our efforts.
Highly commended as Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year
One of our social values is to protect and support the vulnerable people within our local community, so being highly commended as Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year is an important recognition. We always do our best to prioritise those who need us most, providing free advice by phone and in person, including at community events, supporting applicants to secure government grants and arranging installation as quickly as possible to ensure that senior citizens and others in need do not have to wait any longer than necessary to benefit from the insulation and heating to which they are entitled.
We recently gave six schools across the Greater Manchester Combined Authority area (Bolton, Salford, Wigan) £5k each as a contribution towards things that their pupils need, such as uniforms, books, equipment, sensory areas etc. This was given to the most vulnerable schools in the area. We also regularly attend free events in these areas that are aimed at senior citizens who need help and support.

As renewable energy experts, we were honoured to be nominated across a number of categories and equally delighted to be able to sponsor the National Business Development Manager/Director of the Year award. This award celebrates excellence and innovation in energy efficiency leadership and aligns well with our ethos of teamwork, accountability and social value.
Our congratulations to the winner of this award, Dominique Rhoden of Perfect Sense Energy. Dominique was recognised for her innovative business approach, dedication to fostering sustainable partnerships and commitment to the business’ strategic vision.
