Low Carbon Housing For The Future
There is wide recognition that retrofitting existing properties with carbon reduction as over 29 million homes will need retrofitting before 2050. Energy efficiency measures are vital to support the government in achieving its challenging targets, as is the need to ensure that all new properties that are built meet stringent low-carbon standards.
This awards ceremony will celebrate the successes that have been achieved to date and provide the inspiration for what is to follow. There are a number of exciting projects and innovations in the pipeline that will surely pique the interest of all those with a connection to construction, and this event will offer these attendees the opportunity to discuss them with others who share their vision.
Next Energy Nominated For Company of The Year – North
We have been shortlisted in the “Company/organisation of the Year – North” category and would like to take this opportunity to thank Unlock Net Zero for considering us. We are very proud of the achievements that we have enjoyed over the last few years and, in particular, of the social benefits that we have delivered within our local community. To see our work and team recognised at such an incredible event is the icing on the cake for us.
We would also like to express our heartfelt congratulations to all of the other shortlisted nominees from all 12 categories. We are deeply honoured to have been nominated alongside you and look forward to celebrating with you all next month.
Sustainability drives us
At Next Energy, our passion for carbon reduction is matched only by our desire to save our customers money. We believe that the way to a brighter and more prosperous future is to embrace renewable energy sources, insulate our homes, and remain comfortable and healthy without it costing a fortune.
We are fortunate that the government’s Net Zero by 2050 targets require that these improvements are implemented and that they are willing and able to financially support homeowners to make the necessary upgrades to their homes.
Conclusion
In playing our part, we will continue to actively seek out eligible households and to support them in applying for the grants that are necessary to allow them to carry out the home improvements that they need. We have already helped to improve the lives of thousands of people in the North of England, and have much further to go.
Being nominated for the Company of the Year award helps to increase our visibility and in doing so, our accessibility to those homeowners and tenants who may previously have been unaware of their eligibility for these schemes. We urge anybody who wishes to implement carbon reduction measures in their homes to contact us to discuss their requirements.
